Note1: The category numbering has been adjusted to remove redundant sections. It is now in a logical sequence.

Note2: If travelling to Cardrona to hand in entries is a problem, please contact us and we can make alternative arrangements. You can also hand in prints to Langlee on a Wednesday or to Ford Renton in Gala; call first. Details are on the entry form.

A revised entry form and revised rules are available by clicking the links above. They will open in a new tab. You can complete the entry form online, save it as “your name”, and email it with your entries. Alternatively, you can just print out the form and handwrite it.

We have combined the categories of Livestock, Agricultural Machinery and Buildings into one category called “Farming Life”. This is because the old categories had fairly low entry levels, especially Agricultural Machinery and Buildings. The old categories still qualify for Farming Life, but you can now include people, provided they are participating in a farming/agricultural activity or practice. A straight portrait of a person who happens to be a farmer does not qualify as farming life; that should go in the People category

Sponsorship again this year by NFU

The admission fee for the evening is £5 due to increased costs at the venue. There is still NO FEE to enter the competition.

AGRI 2025

It was a grand night. Big thanks to the judges and NFU for their support. Well done GCC members who mucked in to help out. Also, thanks to Langlee Community Centre and caretaker Dave.
